RED DRAGONFRUIT
Dragon fruit is a fruit tree of the cactus family that is native to Mexico. In Vietnam, dragon fruit is suitable for the climate and soil of the Mekong Delta, so it has a unique flavor. Currently, Chanh Thu is promoting the export of this fruit with the association with 1 growing area certified GlobalGAP and 1 growing area granted US Code. When ripe, the skin of the dragon fruit is red, according to the color characteristics of the flesh, it is divided into two types: red flesh dragon fruit and white flesh dragon fruit.

In terms of nutrients, dragon fruit is a highly appreciated fruit. According to a study by Life Hack, on average, one dragon fruit contains about 60 calories, 60 mg sodium, 8 g sugar, 2 g unsaturated fat and 2 g protein. In addition, dragon fruit contains vitamins C, B1, B2 and B3, and essential minerals including phosphorus, iron and calcium. In 100 g of dragon fruit, it provides 21 mg of vitamin C, equivalent to 34% of the amount of vitamin C the body needs per day, and provides 3 g of fiber, equivalent to 12% of the daily required fiber. Therefore, dragon fruit has the effect of treating many diseases.
